About the Journal

Journal of Animal, Food and Environmental Sciences (JAFES) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by PT. Restorasi Lingkungan Indonesia. The journal is published twice annually, in May and November, with its first issue scheduled for 2026. It operates as an online publication in the English language, and its ISSN and DOI prefix are currently in process.

JAFES is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge across the interconnected fields of animal science, food science, and environmental science, consistently unified through the One Health approach, food security, and sustainability principles. The journal's scope encompasses animal production and health, food safety and technology, environmental management, and interdisciplinary topics such as precision agriculture, bioinformatics, and agribusiness policy. All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process, adhering to COPE ethical standards. JAFES is committed to indexing in major databases, including Google Scholar, DOAJ, Crossref, and Scopus, and accepts submissions through its online OJS platform. Through the dissemination of high-quality, original research, the journal aims to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development, global health, and environmental protection in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
